French Prairie Gardens are now hiring for full time or part time employees to work in the bakery and Farm Market. We are looking for super cool, enthusiastic team members who will help make all the magic happen here at French Prairie Gardens. You must be 15 years or older to work at French Prairie Gardens.

Time Commitments:

Part time; 15-20 hours a week
Saturdays and Sundays and possibly one weekday
Festival Positions through Oct. 27, Bakery & Farm Market Staff Positions through Oct. 27 or until Dec. 9 depending upon experience

Festival Helper Positions:

Standing/Sitting checking wristbands
Admission area Workers
Concessions Workers
Farm Bar, Beer, & Hard Cider Pourers (21+ OLCC Server’s License Required) – Weekend position
Corn Cannon
Apple Slingshot
Super Mega Ride N’ Slide (Now under cover & sloped seats for easy pushing!)
Pig Barrel Train Ride
Jump Pad Supervisors
Hospitality
Break Takers – Able to float and help all of the staff get their lunch breaks

Farm Market Staff Responsibilities:

Assisting customers with all Garden Center products and encouraging purchases
Plant Care: Including Filling displays, watering, deadheading, sweeping and other tasks that may be needed
Opening or Closing the Farm Market
Working at the Espresso Bar (training is provided)
Ability to multitask and remain focused under pressure
Ability to use a cash register or sales POS efficiently
Stand and walk on concrete 90% of the day (up to 3-5 miles walking a day)
Work in all kinds of weather, hot or cold, indoors, outdoors, or in a greenhouse
Additional Responsibilities may apply depending upon job selected for.

Bakery Dept Responsibilities:

Assisting Head Baker
Cut and Serve Bakery Items
Wash dishes
Food/Bakery Prep
Make Donuts, top the donuts and bag the donuts
Assist Making Pies
Additional Responsibilities may apply depending upon job selected for.
